Adult programs at Mission Centers of Houston consist of senior adult ministry, senior adult homebound food delivery, food and clothing distribution, English as a second language classes and nutrition classes.
Each week, over 100 senior adults meet at Gano Mission Center and Joy Fellowship Center for food, fellowship and worship. In addition to on-site ministry, MCH sponsors a weekly homebound ministry to over 30 senior adults. Volunteers deliver food and offer pastoral counsel and prayer with the seniors.
English classes are a vital ministry since many of the neighbors of MCH are Spanish speakers. MCH offers the class for free and is taught by local volunteers at both Fletcher Mission Center and Joy Fellowship Center.
In coordination with MCH's food distribution program, nutrition classes are offered and are taught by providing information and hands-on learning.
