Adult Programs

What We Do

Adult programs at Mission Centers of Houston consist of senior adult ministry, senior adult home-bound food delivery, homeless food and hygiene bags, food and clothing distribution, Bible Study, and marriage and parenting classes.

Each week, over 100 senior adults meet at Gano Mission Center and Joy Fellowship Center for food, fellowship and worship.  Senior adults also take several day trips throughout the year.  A yearly overnight trip to Palacios, TX is the highlight for many seniors.  The community gathering aspect is what really makes senior day really stand out.

In addition to on-site ministry, MCH sponsors a weekly homebound ministry to over 30 senior adults.  Volunteers deliver food and offer pastoral counsel and prayer with the seniors.

Bible Study is central to each of our programs and we have a Ladies Bible Study held twice weekly at the Gano Mission CenterMCH offers the class for free and is taught by local volunteers and staff . We also offer marriage and parenting classes for women at various times.
