Women of Purpose

A biweekly program at the Gano Mission Center designed to equip and empower women of our community to serve their families and others in an effective way. The program focuses on building strong relationships through Bible study, crafts, teaching of skills and service projects. Participants in the program are encouraged to serve as volunteers at the centers as a way to put what they’ve learned into action. For program dates and more information, please contact Juan and Lucia Ayala at juan@missioncenters.org.

Family Bible Study

A biweekly program on Thursday evenings (7:00 – 8:30 pm) at the Joy Mission Center. It is an opportunity for local families to come together, fellowship, and encourage one another in the Word. At our gatherings, we worship together, have a devotional geared toward the children, and a Bible study for the adults. Currently our Family Bible Study program has been paused. We are hoping to pick this back up sometime in the near future. Check back for updates!

Personal Mentoring and Coaching

Our ministry model is based on our Mission Center leaders serving as husband and wife teams with their families while residing in the communities they serve. This allows the building of relationships throughout the community and gives first hand knowledge and understanding of the needs that exist. By modeling what a Christian family, marriage and home looks like it presents multiple opportunities to provide one-on-one mentoring and Biblical teaching and application to individuals of all ages.

Development and Empowerment Classes

From time to time we offer special classes at our Mission Centers to residents. This helps us to build continual trust throughout the community. The classes are either one-time events or a series of classes designed to equip community residents with skills that will help them reach their full potential. We also serve as a referral for community residents to other organizations we partner with who offer similar classes. The classes we’ve held in the past are related to parenting, marriage, ESL, GED and Bible study.

“Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.” – Hebrews 10:24-25 (NLT)
